This specialized class is designed for athletes who want to develop and excel in all cheer stunt positions, with a primary focus on flyers, as well as bases and back spots. Athletes will train essential skills needed for safe, strong, and confident stunting while learning the roles and responsibilities of each position.

Flyers will work on body control, balance, flexibility, and air awareness to hit and hold clean positions with confidence. Bases and back spots will focus on proper grips, timing, strength, and communication to create stable, controlled stunts. Athletes will also learn transitions, dismounts, and team synchronization to build complete stunt groups.

Focus Areas:

  • Flyer body positions (liberty, heel stretch, arabesque, etc.)

  • Balance, flexibility, and core control for flyers

  • Base and back spot technique, grips, and timing

  • Stunt building, transitions, and dismounts

  • Communication, trust, and teamwork within stunt groups

  • Strength, conditioning, and injury prevention

Prerequisite: Basic cheer knowledge or coach approval.
